Where to stay in San Miniato

Emiko Davies San Miniato Tuscany

There are plenty of places to stay in San Miniato for a variety of budgets. In the centre, you’ll find mostly apartments fully equipped with kitchens etc, but also there are two nineteenth century hotels, a hostel and even a converted seminary (in the photo above) with simple but nicely renovated rooms.

I have tried to list the places that are most central (those on the historical centre list are within a 5-10 minute walk away from Enoteca Marilu) and some of the ones I’ve actually seen in person but there are also many options in the countryside, only 10-15 minutes drive away, where you can also find an agriturismo type accommodation (working farms with rooms or fully equipped apartments and often a restaurant and pool).

We do not get any commissions on these or have anything to do with the listing here but previous guests and friends have given us feedback on these places. You can also see a full list of accommodation from the local tourism office here.

We have listed the direct contacts to these accommodations so that you don’t need to use Booking or Airbnb, which we personally do not support.

In the historical centre:

Casa Raffaello and Casa Nina, large modern apartment with panoramic terrace near Piazza del Popolo. Email cantini.luigi@libero.it
Ridolfi House Open space apartment in the heart of San Miniato (note, in the summer with windows open, it might be loud here as the diners and popular cocktail bar underneath like to be outside on the street below!), email ridolfohouse@libero.it
